Returned from hunting trip in Cassiar area. Received from dead letter office the comparative vocabularies he had sent to Boas of Lillooet, Thompson, Shuswap, Okanagan, San Poil, Colville, Columbia, Spokane, and Coeur d'Alene; a map of territories of each (forwarded in August). In Cassiar, wrote down Tahltan stories. Talks about a guide named Adset, who knows Tahltan, and some Kaska, Nahanni, and Cree. Teit wrote down info from him on boundaries of these groups.
