Come Work With Us: Partners, Fellows, Interns
The Center for Digital Scholarship at the American Philosophical Society Library & Museum actively partners with scholars, institutions, and students to further the APS Library’s mission and promote the use of our collections.
Digital Humanities Fellowship
Two one-month fellowships, open to scholars who are comfortable creating tools and visualizations, as well as those interested in working collaboratively with the APS Center for Digital Scholarship.

Digital Library Internship
Two internships, 140 hours each, open to current students, or recent graduates, in Library Science, Public History and related fields. Intended for those interested in digital librarianship and digital scholarship, this internship focuses on hands-on experience with digitization, digital repository management and metadata creation.
Calls for applications are usually put out at the beginning of the year and late summer, for Spring and Autumn internships.
Scholars, Communities, and Libraries
We work with scholars and libraries around the country to promote the APS collections. If you’re a scholar interested in working with APS material for a class or a digital project, or if you’re at a library with similar holdings and want to talk about collaborative projects with the APS, we hope that you’ll reach out. Additionally, if you've used any of our resources in a project that we may promote, please let us know!
