Tells story of being brought before the old chiefs at the age of 19, was treated well by them and told that the wars between the Kwaguʼł and the Tongass (Tlingit) stopped after Hunt's mother came to Fort Rupert. Mother died 4 days ago. Also tells briefly of his father sāLan. Sending pages 1222-1231, two sets of 6 pages sent for review, and map of southeast arm of Quatsino Sound. Asks Boas to write spell words the same as he does to make information easier to read. Gives expenses for trip to G̱usgimukw to get information on map.
