Robert Morris writes to Benjamin Franklin and includes an extract from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson in which he expresses a desire for a copying machine (presumably a letter copying press) that Franklin was using. Jefferson requests that Morris attempt to obtain one for him as well as a dozen reams of paper which he will pick up in Philadelphia in November.
