AbstractDaniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer sends a letter to Benjamin Franklin. He includes a letter from a father that he hopes will get to the man's son in London. The father is concerned that the son will not return to Maryland in time and will forfeit the rights to his property. He also discusses John Laurens somewhat useless journey to France. He assures Franklin that Congress still trusts Franklin to act on their behalf.
