| Abstract | Received letter May 22. Sending $250 to be used for obtaining specimens from Dzawada̱ʼenuxw and other tribes where it is possible. Includes list of 41 specimens most sought for museum. Does not include everyday use items, but these can be added. Especially seeking masks and dancing implements. Old carvings wanted, not new or "shabby" one. For every mask, must have history written down in the language, and song as well if it has one. Also seeks charms. Proposes arrangement for extended amount of this kind of work. Specimens should be shipped to George Heye. | ||
