AbstractLetter from William Smallwood to Nathanael Greene. Annapolis - By a late act of the Legislature of Maryland, no person can act in the Quartermaster's, Commissary or Forage departments if concerned in trade or traffic not incidental to the duties of office; this will occasion the resignation of Mr. Calhoun. Recommends Mr. John Bullen as his successor.
