AbstractLetter from Nathanael Greene to Cornelius Sheriff. Wyoming -- Just left the army twenty-seven miles above Tioga healthy and spirited after penetrating the most interior part of the Indian country, destroying their towns and produce and laying waste the whole of their settlements. Considerable waste of quartermaster's stores since the commencement of the expedition, especially on long and rapid marches. Number of horses much lessened. Will send returns later.
