AbstractReproduces letter from Francesco Carlini, Italian astronomer and mathematician, in which Carlini speaks of photographing the eyes of a murderer in order to see the images of his victims impressed on his retina. Zantedeschi was an Italian physicist responsible for over three hundred scientific articles--chiefly on electricity, light, and magnetism.
