AbstractSmith's Clove - Orders from Gov. Livingston and Gen. Washington to remove the sick out of the barns of the inhabitants of New Jersey and to apply to Col. Berry to provide them with quarters in the barracks and public buildings in Pluckemin. These accommodations very inconvenient and improper for the purpose, but necessity compels him in the future.
