AbstractDorothy Jordan writes to Benjamin Franklin to request aide. Jordan was the widow of John Morton Jordan of Virginia who was an agent of Maryland. Jordan describes her poor financial state and lack of knowledge of the properties her husband held in Maryland that her son should inherit. She asks Franklin to forward an enclosed letter to a Mr. Jett and Mr. Bernard.
