AbstractComments that Gen. [Elijah] Clarke's skirmish with the Indians [at Jack's Creek, Ga.] was misrepresented and that Clarke's letter that will be published in a newspaper gives a very different account of the matter, and describes Clarke's account of the skirmish; asks him to sell barrels of rice; gives instructions for work to be done by his own Negroes.
