| Abstract | Letter from "Freedom" Dublin to William Temple Franklin. Informs him that the brig "Lord Charlemont" sailed for America with his property on the 13th. Hopes to be able to follow with his family in a few months. People of Ireland now convinced of the treachery and deceit of England; their trade and commerce get no protection from the British Government. Thinks now is the time for France and the United States to strike a crushing blow at England by helping Ireland to secure her independence. "Freedom" Dublin is most likely an alliance, or potentially spy network, connected to William Temple Franklin during his time in Paris during the Revolutionary War. | ||
