AbstractLetter from John Cox to Nathanael Greene. Bloomsbury - Just honored with his favor of that morning and sends the horse by bearer. Congress has received some very interesting intelligence, which is affected to be kept a profound secret. Many conjectures as to its nature. Has had a considerable effect in reducing prices. Pennsylvania's tax bill under consideration. Report of five or six of the enemy's armed vessels being carried into Chesapeake bay by two Continental frigates. Intelligence received that the schooner Hunter has brought in a prize.
