AbstractLetter from William Blodget to Nathanael Greene. Mrs. Greene's phaeton to be repaired by Saturday. Finds upon inquiry that the most advantageous opening for himself is a captain of marines on board the Dean Friday. Expects to drink tea with the Governor that afternoon and will present General Greene's compliments. The city in commotion owing to a publication threatening vengeance on monopolizing speculators unless prices are reduced to what they were the Christmas before. Various arrests made. Inhabitants to hold a probably stormy meeting at the State-house.
