Abstract | Letter from Sarah Franklin Bache to William Temple Franklin. Sends her letter by Mrs. McCarty whom his grandfather was well acquainted with in Canada. Mrs. Dorcas Montgomery is going in the same vessel, but she is not on good terms with her now. Old Dr. William Shippen has just called with a letter for Dr. Franklin; tells a wonderful story about his son's house being struck by lightning. Mr. Bryson is still in the post office. | ||
