AbstractElicitations, kinship terms, place names. Text in Umatilla. Narrative in English translation by Mrs. Vera Jones on her youth. Refers to "Reel #1. Starting 70'." Recorded July 10 to July 18, 1963 with Umatilla speakers Vera Jones and Alice Barnhart at Pendleton, Oregon, and Inez Spino at Adams, Oregon; and Cayuse speaker, Joe Williams at Lapwai, Idaho. Titled by Rigsby as "Field notes from the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Pendleton, Oregon, Summer 1963."
NoteScans created in September 2017 from microfilm reels of the original material made by Rigsby that were deposited at APS in 1969. Originals still in possession of Bruce Rigsby at time of microfilm digitization.
