Hand-colored and annotated map delineating territories of [all names as spelled] “Cour d’Alene, Kalispel, Pend d’Oreille, Flathead, Nez Perce, Shoshonis, Kootenay, Blackfoot.” Other tribal regions are denoted on map, without coloration; these include tribal territories within the map area, and neighboring territories. Overprinted by hand with hachures are areas identified as “Former territory of Tunaxa,” “Former territory of Semteuse, “Piece of territory formerly claimed by Pend d’Oreille,” and “possibly also formerly a part of the Semteuse territory.”; Base map: “The Rand-McNally Vest Pocket Map of Montana Showing All Counties, Cities, Towns, Railways, Lakes, Rivers, etc.” (c) 1906.
