Naamiwan (John) Owen, portrait beside niimi'idiiwigamig (dance pavilion) used for Naamiwan's dream drum. Drummers included three nephews of Naamiwan, Omishoosh (James) Owen and his brothers, Gezhiiyash (John) Owen, and Joozhi (Joseph Owen) Moose who brought Naamiwan's drum to Poplar River in the early 1920s.
