CONTENT DESCRIPTION
AbstractNorthern Mam language, also known as Huehuetenango Mam. This program is a sample made by the collector of a larger set of material on the collector's original tapes. The full original program is described in the collector's documenation as follows: "5 minutes of Mam from a 32-year-old male speaker of Huehuetenango. he speaks first in Mam and then gives the Spanish equivalent. His texts discuss illness, bruheria, and medicinal plants all in relation to his village."
NoteThe name of the speaker is not identified in the collector's documentation.
