| Abstract | | Song is preceded by Charley White's explanation in Tlingit that he is going to sing the spirit cong of his father's older brother, lXagusa [or tek'-ic]. Song is followed by repetition of the words of the song in Tlingit. "The spirit is that of the teqwedi hero, lucwAq, and is called lucwAq yek or laXak'ina yek 'Spirit on top of Yakutat.'" |
