Northern Mam language, also known as Huehuetenango Mam. This program is a sample made by the collector of a larger set of material on the collector's original tapes. The full original program is described in the collector's documenation as follows: "5 minutes of Mam from a 32-year-old male speaker of Huehuetenango. he speaks first in Mam and then gives the Spanish equivalent. His texts discuss illness, bruheria, and medicinal plants all in relation to his village."; The name of the speaker is not identified in the collector's documentation.

Central Pokomam language. This program is a sample made by the collector of a larger set of material on the collector's original tapes. The full original program is described in the collector's documenation as follows: "A 1 hour 25 minute dialogue in Pocomam Central between [a 22 year-old female Ladina (mixed Spanish-Indian) of Chinautla] and a monolingual, approximately 32-year-old female of Chinautla. The conversation ranges over many topics including sorcery and disease, the Indian woman having had considerable first-hand experience as a vicitm of sorcery. This material is by far the most importnat and valuable item that I collected."; The name of the speaker is not identified in the collector's documentation.
